The wild ride of marketing The Perfect Stick took another surreal turn Monday when Derek (writer) was a guest on Daybreak South, CBC Radio One’s current affairs morning show covering the Southern Interior of British Columbia, based in Kelowna.
Host Chris Walker had Derek on as a guest to discuss the book, the inspiration behind it, working with Derek Toye (illustrator) and his son Denver’s reaction to seeing the story come to life.
